I attended the WA local workers first Rally on the 4th of July starting at Parliament House in Perth. I have to say that this issue is very close to my heart. We see in the media the spin that unions in Australia are against migrants, which is untrue as a large proportion of union membership is made up of many different cultures. the union movement is probably one of the highest respecting movements of people from diverse areas. Respecting each and every individual firstly as a human, not based upon where they are from, what gender they are or what makes us different. |

First half of 2012. Wow what a year this one has been so far... full of changes, new direction and growth. my life has taken me back to university where I am focussing all my creative energies into my photography and really honing my craft. I want to make a go of this as my career, and become self-sufficient. onwards and upwards they say.. so if you know anyone seeking photography services - then send them my way!! This shot is of Rhys, my urban skate model. He is awesome and very kind to help me out with some assignments. I love this shot, so peaceful and serene. Enjoy!

 Australia Day
A scorcher.... Middle of a heat wave... Like seagulls we flock to the beach... To cool down, to frolic with friends.. To be free...
With our mates, with our cobba's.. With our bread and butter... Snags, chops, sanga's, beer's, bevvys and swill... Sheila's, martin wheelers, blokes, all with our bags of fruit... Crackin' a tinnie, fair dinkum getting full as a goog.... Avin a go mate....Flat chat muckin around... No Drama's, No worries, playing sillybugga's, pullin our heads in. |

May you forever sail the sea's...
Memories last forever and the stories you told will get better and better with each generation!!
A pleasure to have known you and to have marched by your side... You will never be forgotten..
Forever Young...
